Someone had asked this question. Why is my blog  attracting zero organic traffic after 8 months, What am I doing wrong? If you have been experiencing the same problem, please see my response below.

 Here are 16 things that you can do to earn organic traffic.


  • Promote your blog on the social media platforms that your target audience is on. You should also consider creating an online presence. Quora and Pinterest are excellent platforms to drive traffic to your blog. With Pinterest, you would need to set up a business account. With Quora, you should try to build up a reputation by answering some helpful questions. They don't allow spamming on their platform. However, you can add a link to your blog site if you are answering a question that is related to your niche.


  • Create a Pinterest business account and use it to drive traffic to your blog.


  • Write great content. You stand a better chance of earning backlinks from other top sites within your niche. If you have great content people will want to link to it. They will also share it on various platforms.

  • Ensure that your content is well researched and on point. Always use credible sources to back up your statements.


  • Join blog groups on Facebook and participate there. You'll get useful tips from other bloggers.


  • Share your blog posts on your social media platforms. Add clickable links that will pull traffic to your blog.

  • Make sure that your site is indexed and search engines are allowed to crawl your site.


  • Pay close attention to your website's load time.


  • Offer a guest post on a popular blog site. 


  • Share your blog posts on Medium.


  • Set up on and off-page SEO. 
Do your keyword research. I can’t stress this enough. You need to know what people in your niche are searching for, so you can tailor your posts around those keywords. I highly recommend Ahrefs and Ubersuggest. Keep focus on search intent. You don’t want to be writing articles that no one is searching for.


  • Create high-quality backlinks on websites with high domain authority.


  • Answer questions on Quora that are relevant to your niche. You can add a link to your post. Don't spam!


  • Have an influencer give you a free shout-out.


  • Create an email list.


  • Reach out to your followers and have them share your blog posts.
